Banner Creek Reservoir is a 535 acre reservoir suited for many outdoor activities.
Banner Lake is a camper's paradise. 62 RV spaces include individual electric and water
hookups. Primitive camping is also available. Shelter houses, bathhouses, a chapel,
a playground, sand volleyball court and horseshoe pit are also available. Shelter
houses and the chapel require reservations. Reservations may be made by contacting
the park office.
Water related activities include fishing, boating, water skiing, jet skiing and swimming.
Fish found in BannerLake include largemouth bass, channel catfish, flathead catfish,
crappie, redear sunfish, bluegill and walleye. Boat ramps, docks, fish cleaning stations,
bath houses, campsites and swimming beaches are located on both the north and south
sides of lake.

More than twelve miles of trails wind around Banner Lake, including a 5k course. The trails are packed earth and grass with occasional bridge crossings. Rated from easy to moderate, they are well suited for hiking or biking. Just over three miles of the trail is handicapped accessible and more than six miles is approved for horseback riding. The trail leads you by many features and amentities available at Banner Lake. You will also be guided by informative trail markers pointing out many of natures amentities, including wooded areas, wildflowers, wildlife and birds.
The lakes is home to many different animals. More than 25 species of birds can be counted at the Lake, including a pair of majestic bald eagles. The pair have called the lake home for more than 5 years and have raised many babys in their ever-growing nest.
Banner Creek Science Center & Observatory is located on the north west side of the Lake. Come for the stars, Stay for the science!
